Jacks of All Trades... More Like Cast of All Talents

Netflix’s Stranger Things has become a household name since it’s release in 2016. Since then, it’s garnerd well over 140M views, and has earned a top 3 spot on Netflix’s top 10 most watched shows.

It’s plot having a perfect double life, the classic 80s life, friends, highschool relationships, but also demogorgons, supernatural forces, and government secrets.

Like the plot, most of its cast also holds a double life, with actors like Finn Wolfhard, Maya Hawke, and Joe Keery, all having a love for the spotlight and also for the centerlight.

Finn WolfHard

His beginnings came from a band called Calpurnia, where he did lead vocals and guitar. From 2017 to 2019 they released an EP in 2018 named Scout alongside countless singles like Greyhound, Blame, City Boy, and Cell.

Our favorite?
Their cover of Say It Ain’t So by Weezer.

Now, he’s a solo artist with a brand new album Happy Birthday released a month ago on June 6th. An album of self-reflection, Finn explores identity, anxiety, and growing pains.

MAYA HAWKE

With 3 albums up her sleeve,

Blush (2020)

Moss (2022)

Chaos Angel (2024)

Maya has been in the music scene for half a decade now. Having her first single, To Love a Boy in 2019, it’s safe to say she’s used to the scene by now. Her most popular songs include Thérèse, Missing Out, and To Love a Boy.

Our Favorite?

Has to be Thérèse. Music video and lyrics are out of this world.

Joe Keery

Joe started off in a band named Post Animal in 2014, who to this day, still make music!

Post Animal, 2025

Since their start in 2014, they’ve released three albums,

When I Think of You in a Castle (2018)

Forward Motion Godyssey (2020)

Love Gibberish (2022)

And upcoming, IRON (2025)

When he joined Stranger Things, things with the band slowed down due to scheduling conflicts, and eventually Joe stepped away in 2019 and became Djo, (pronounced Jo), his solo artist alter-ego.

As Djo, Joe has released three albums,

Twenty Twenty (2019)

Decide (2022)

The Crux (2025)

Currently on his US/EU/UK tour, Joe is joined by his old bandmates, Post Animal, as his opener. Isn’t that just precious.

Our favourite?

Any of Djo’s music. No notes. It’s perfect. No room for discussion.

Post Animal’s? Ralphie, The Last Goodbye, or When I Get Home.
