4 Hair Scarf Styles Easy Enough For Anyone

Unfortunately, not everyone is blessed with the skill of being able to magically accomplish amazing hairstyles. If you’re anything like me, you can’t even do a single braid perfectly. Enter the hair scarf. This adorable silky piece of fabric can quickly elevate a hairstyle with just a few knots. Even better, it is the most versatile hair accessory, as it’s able to be incorporated into tons of different styles. If you get a big enough one, it can even double as a top!

Having seen the trend all over my Pinterest feed, I decided to bite the bullet and order one off of Amazon. After browsing through my feed, I found these four hairstyles to try, and let me just start off by saying they did not disappoint. There’s already more scarves in my Amazon cart.

LOOK #1: THE LOW PONY

A hairstyle can’t get any easier than this. Just grab a hair tie, throw your hair in a loose ponytail, and tie your preferred hair scarf around the rubber band. It instantly ups your ponytail game.

LOOK #2: THE CLASSIC BANDANA

This one honestly looks easier than it is. As you can see in the photo, my folding skills are definitely subpar at best. A tip: put your hair in a ponytail when you tie the bandana around your head; it makes the process so much faster. Still, it’s such a cute style, especially if you want to keep your hair out of your face. Once I get my folding down, this will definitely be cuter.

LOOK #3: THE HEADBAND

Calling all wannabe Blair Waldorfs. Want to feel as boujee as our favorite Upper-East sider? Just tie your scarf around your head in the style of a headband and you’ll feel fancier in a second. Personally, I preferred how my scarf looked without the knot on top of my head, but both styles are equally as fashionable.

LOOK #4: HALF-UP, HALF-DOWN

This style was my personal favorite. It’s so girly and fun! Just pull an Ariana Grande and put your hair in a half-up ponytail, leaving as much or as littler hair down as you prefer. In my opinion, it makes the already-cute hairstyle even cuter, and it literally took an extra five seconds to do. 100% worth it.
