Glossy Hair at Home

With something as sacred as our hair, it can be daunting to try something new.

But if you’re looking for a safe and easy refresh, gloss is the way to go.

A Gloss Guide

Glosses are safe treatments that add shine and vibrance to your hair. Most licensed stylists use gloss in the salon to achieve the fresh and shiny feeling you get after a visit. If you want that lasting salon finish for a fraction of the price, an at-home gloss kit will change your life.

Glossing your hair at home is easy and takes 30 minutes or less. Most products will instruct you to apply it to damp hair, let sit and then wash it out with shampoo.

Glosses come in so many options to satisfy all types of hair goals. A clear coat will add shine without altering your existing color. This is great for taming frizz and adding some softness. But if you want a little more change, you might want to reach for a colored gloss. Glosses come in a variety of demi-permanent colors to help emphasize your natural hues, or even make a stunning switch. If you’re a blonde ready to go brunette, grabbing a dark brown gloss is a safe way to help darken it up!

A factor to keep in mind is that all glosses are demi-permanent. This means that with normal washing and styling, the effects will start to lessen over time. However, gloss is safe to use as often as is felt is needed. If your color or shine starts to dull after a month or so, don’t be afraid to grab another bottle. Glosses are strengthening treatments, so you’ll actually be doing your hair a favor!

Have we sold you on the magic of hair gloss yet? We sure hope so!
