YouTube Fitness Gurus

Some days it’s hard to find the motivation to crawl out of bed and actually drive to the gym. Thankfully, if you can find enough room, you can still reach your fitness goals without leaving your house. Whether it’s achieving weight loss, gaining strength, or just improving your overall health, here are just a few of the many fitness instructors on YouTube who can guide you through your at-home practices.

Boho Beautiful Yoga

Boho Beautiful Yoga was co-created by married couple Juliana and Mark Spicoluk. They created the YouTube account in 2014 and have since gained 2.86 million followers. With more than 600 videos posted to their channel, they cover all types of yoga practices, including Yin, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha, and more. Additionally, they have videos of pilates, guided meditations, and yoga workouts. The best part about their videos is that their practices are shot in beautiful outdoor locations all around the world, like the snowy mountains of the Swiss Alps, a jungle in Nicaragua, and a beach in Turks and Caicos. The serene backdrops, mixed with Juliana’s soothing voice, transport you into these beautiful locations and provide a very relaxing and calming mood for your practices that will have you coming back for more every week.

Move With Nicole

Nicole McPherson, founder of Move With Nicole, is a certified yoga and pilates instructor living in Thailand, who has a background in dance and gymnastics. Since joining YouTube in 2019, she has posted 204 videos and racked up about 2.61 million followers. Nicole’s channel is mostly focused on pilates workout videos that you can do at home, although she also has yoga, barre cardio, and dance workouts, as well. Additionally, it can be difficult to find longer-length workout videos on YouTube that surpass 35 minutes, but Move With Nicole has multiple videos spanning anywhere from 40 to 60 minutes long. Nicole also has a second channel, Move With Nicole En Español, where she posts the same videos on her original channel but with Spanish audio. Most importantly, Nicole’s high energy throughout her videos motivates viewers to push themselves through all her workouts and leave feeling upbeat and positive.

Natasha Océane

Natasha Océane joined Youtube in 2015 and has since gained 1.67 million followers. With a PhD in biophysics, Natasha gives expert advice on fitness and health, with a particular focus on building strength through food and exercise choices. Linked on her channel is her personal website where you can pay for different training programmes or health recipes. Since launching her website, Natasha has strayed away from posting free workout tutorials on her channel, instead focusing more on videos about her marathon preparation and advice for health and wealth. However, with 226 posts, she still has countless older videos of at-home workouts that are completely free. Most of these videos are short HITT workouts lasting around 15 minutes, for those days you don’t have a lot of time but still want a hard workout that will make you sweat.
