Leopard Print: The New Neutral

What was dubbed as a piece of 2010, Indie Sleaze fashion is making a comeback: leopard print. The bold fashion statement is predicted to be an  “in” for 2024 according to trend forecasters on “fashiontok.” In the past few weeks alone, Pinterest searches for “leopard print” have increased by 100 percent according to the in-house analytics team at Refinery29. Whether it’s the print of Wales Bonner’s Adidas collaboration or the garments on Versace’s autumn/winter 2024 runway, leopard print is having its moment. We’ve compiled a list of items and ways to style the bold print this season in a cool and modern way.

The first way we love to style leopard print jeans is as an everyday, comfortable outfit. Leopard print has the powerful ability to elevate a basic outfit, bringing uniqueness to a casual Adidas Spezial, sweater undershirt combo.

Leopard print works well in combination with a neutral-toned top as it allows the leopard print to shine. We love the Damson Madder leopard print cargo pants and a baby tee. Damson Madder’s leopard items, specifically the Dion Leopard Cargo Jeans appear to spearhead the trend, with some on the waiting list for the pants for months. We’ve paired the iconic pants with this “In Print We Trust” graphic tee shirt, silver hoop earrings, Adidas Spezials, and a red bag to add a pop of color.

This third outfit is casual yet edgy. These Ganni black flats and woven black bag mix well with the relaxed fit of a white hoodie, leopard Ganni jeans, and bomber jacket

In addition to being the statement piece to an outfit, leopard makes a great accent like these Adidas x Wales Bonner leopard sneakers. Red is a bold color on its own, though works well as a pop of color to a leopard look. We’ve paired a red crewneck sweater, low-waist jeans, Flatlist tinted sunnies, and accessories to the shoes.

Last but not least, we have the night-out leopard print look. This Intimissimi boatneck top is the perfect fitted piece to a black mini skirt. Tie the look together with a pair of high black boots and metallic earrings and you’re ready to hit the town.

As Claudia Schiffer once said, “I feel empowered when I wear leopard print, which comes as no surprise when you consider that female leopards are hunters of their pride!” We hope you draw inspiration from these looks, embrace a bit of Schiffer’s energy and feel empowered to incorporate leopard into your wardrobe.
