The look that stole the Grammys: Dua Lipa’s levitating look

Safe to say we’ve seen some unique looks during this year’s Grammy awards but there were some we all can’t seem to stop talking about. Such as Harry Styles’ Boas, Meg Thee Stallion’s flawless face, Billie Eilish’s eyes, and Dua lipa’s well, everything. 

We decided to recreate our favorite look from, you guessed it folks, Miss. Dua Lipa.

First of all, is she actually human? 

How is it possible to look that good and be THAT talented? (on the way to Planet Fitness after watching her performance) jokes aside, like everyone else, we’re a huuuge Dua fan and have been dying to recreate this look.

1. Dua is known for her gorgeously thick brows and doesn’t really use a lot of product in them. She has been known to use a subtle amount of dark eyeshadow to thicken them up a bit, but keeps them mostly natural and comb through them with a spoolie brush.

   1. The best thing about this look was the gorgeously simple but lavish pink shimmer on her lids. Her shadow also perfectly matched her three Swarovski-encrusted Versace outfits...can you say goals?

   2. We stalked her MUA’s Instagram (@samanthalmua), but couldn’t find product deets so here are some picks we think would emulate her shadow.

   3. First, prep and prime your lids with a thick concealer to ensure the pink shadow is as bright as possible.

THE SHIMMAAAA

1. We chose this dreamy light pink shimmer from Urban Decay that has a slightly purple tint, super similar to Dua’s look. Be sure to spray your brush with setting spray before dipping it into your shimmer shadow. It’ll make sure the shimmer is more intense and your color pay off is true to the pan color.

Individual lashes 

1. Grab some lashes and get to work. Dua loves a natural lash look and has been known to pile on individual lashes. This is a great way to customize your lashes’ volume, thickness, and length in the most natural-looking way without the lash band! Can be a bit time-consuming but it is the way to a stunning lash. Finish off with a natural eye pencil in the waterline and on the lash band and you’re good to go.
