Style Guide: Jeans for Every Occasion
With winter weather looming, it’s time to pack up the summer dresses and shorts and bring out the jeans!
Here’s a list of my favorite brands and how I’ve styled them for every occasion!
GNO x AYR
My go-to look for a casual dinner out with friends is a must-have pair of AYR jeans.
The “Yes Yes Yes” high rise, cropped straight leg jeans are the perfect combination of comfort and chic. Perfect to wear for day-to-day activities or a night out. I paired these with a simple black clasp top and my Doc Martin boots. A timeless look, which is why these jeans are worth the investment.

DATE NIGHT x FREE PEOPLE
We all need that 1 go-to look for when we are meeting someone special or just taking ourselves out (because self dates are the best kind of dates). Something to make you feel powerful yet fashionable.
For this look, I paired my favorite super high rise, distressed bottom black Free People jeans with a blue and green tank and some mini ankle strap heels. These jeans fit in all the right places and allow you to wear all those tiny tops that need a pair of jeans slightly higher than the others to make you comfortable yet confident (at least I do).
SCHOOL DAY x THRIFTED
Straight let, oversized mom jeans have been all the craze for a bit and I’m here for it. On those days when you want to look like you put a little more effort into your school outfit (but didn’t) these jeans do just the trick.
For my go-to ~in person~ class outfit these jeans, I thrift-ed from The Muse are my favorite. Thrifting jeans is a game-changer, the prices are low but the quality is high. I paired these with a simple Urban Outfitters white tank and my Windsor smith platform sneakers (purchased via Princess Poly) a brown crocodile belt, gold hoops, and my black bag. I probably woke up 10 minutes before class but managed to make me look like a street-style chic girl boss. Bonus, These jeans don’t make me feel suffocated when I’m sitting in class

FAMILY DINNER x FLARE
I have always disliked myself in white jeans but this pair and style changed my mind! I don’t know about you, but the majority of my clothes scream “I’m in college”, meaning a little too short or tight to wear for a nice family dinner. But a good pair of flare jeans instantly elevates any look.
These flared, high-rise jeans I found at a small boutique but there are so many places to get basically the same ones. These jeans are flattering and elongating, I paired them with a green puff sleeve fitted top, and some light pink wedges, and since it stays warm until about December nowadays, these jeans are perfect for the between-season time!
DAY TRIP x TEXTURE
On the days when you are walking around a city or town all day, maybe hoping to snap some pics for your Instagram feed, texturized jeans are the way to go. Sometimes a little detailing can make the biggest difference.
These comfortable yet trendy pairs of jeans are a pair of BDG high-waisted carpenter jeans. I painted them with my favorite white Motel Rocks sweater and Doc Martins. These jeans give me street style with their patches of distressing and oversized look. Comfortable, to be able to walk around all day but perfect for photos!
