Your Best Morning Glow

I never truly understood what “your best glow” meant. But now that I’ve incorporated these three tricks into my nightly routine, I firmly believe I glow from the inside out.

Step 1: You need a facial serum! There are so many benefits to using a nightly serum, one of which is reducing signs of aging. It might seem early to be in the fight against wrinkles, but your older self will thank you.

I encourage you to splurge on a facial serum that includes Vitamin C oil. My favorite oil is Sunday Riley C.E.O. Glow. This one is a little pricey, but it’s so worth it, and a little goes a long way! Vitamin C oil is one of the best oils to use to maintain smooth, glowy, and wrinkle-free skin! And it can also help heal acne scars. Whether you’re targeting wrinkles, scars, or just dullness, it’s worth the investment.

A cheaper option and lovely smelling oil is the Rose Facial Oil from Trader Joes. I just discovered this product last week, and it is quickly becoming a holy grail item. It is affordable but also high quality. I switch off between my C.E.O. Glow and this one each night!

Step Two: My next go-to is the jade Gua Sha facial tool. It seems intimidating, but it is easy to use and might just become your new best friend. After you have applied your facial oil, crawl into bed, put your favorite show or song on, and start your own facial massage. Jade Gua Sha is a long-used tool from China that helps promote lymphatic drainage in your face while providing the healing powers and gentle feel of jade.

Also, you deserve to give yourself a little self-love every evening with a facial massage. Using this each night will help your facial features be more defined (talk about a good jawline)! All you have to do is apply gentle pressure to your face and scrape away from the center of your face (nose to ear). It is so easy and you will not only feel a difference, but you’ll see just how glowy your skin will become!

Three

Step Three: My last glowy skincare step is to get beauty sleep! I know it sounds cheesy, but sleep really has changed the way my skin looks in the morning. When you get quality rest, you make better decisions throughout your day that will leave your skin with a lasting glow no matter what activity you are doing. When you get a good night of rest, you are more likely to make healthier decisions which in turn lead to clear and beautiful skin. Drink lots of water, eat clean foods (read the ingredients label), and wash your face as soon as possible after a workout!

These three tricks have genuinely changed my skincare game. I went from being embarrassed by the way my skin looks to feeling confident and beautiful without makeup on. Most importantly, these tricks have healed my skin and set me up to have beautiful skin in the future!
