See the Rockefeller Christmas Tree

This iconic tree is set up annually in Rockefeller Center in Midtown Manhattan. At over 20 ft tall, it makes for the perfect holiday backdrop for all your holiday picture aesthetics. This tree has been around for over 87 years, and it’s not going anywhere. So if you can’t make it this year be sure to catch it next year!

  1. Go Ice Skating in Central Park 

Grab a hot coco and head to Central Park to skate all your worries away. When it snows it truly feels like a winter wonderland. What says winter and holidays more than ice skating?

2. Go to a Holiday Market 

There's plenty of holiday markets in NYC during the holiday season. Each one is filled with different vendors selling delicious foods, homemade products and more. Be sure to check out the Union Holiday Square Market and the Columbus Circle Holiday Market.

3. Eat Dinner at Rolf's Restaurant 

Seriously you will not see another place more decked out for the holidays than Rolf’s. Beautiful Christmas decorations fill the entire restaurant, turning it into a must during the holiday season. 

4. See the Radio City Christmas Spectacular 

This annual holiday show featuring the Rockettes has been performed since 1933. With over 140 performers, this 90 minute show is sure to put you in the holiday spirit. 

5. Shop at Bryant Park Village 

This winter wonderland features a free admission for their skating rink (what’s better than free?), 70 different vendors, a cocktail bar and 12 different restaurants. With plenty of things to do, see and eat, this is a must for any Christmas lover.


6. See the Saks Fifth Avenue Holiday Display 

Not only is Saks Fifth Avenue one of the best places to shop, they also have an iconic window display and light show around Christmas time. Walk past here and you’re going to want to stand and watch, as this year’s display is inspired by Frozen 2.


7. Gigantic Holiday Ornaments 

Go see these mesmerizing ornaments set up right outside on 6th Avenue, near Radio City Music Hall. You can also find other large and equally stunning decorations set up all around the city - You just have to keep an eye out!
