Lets Validate Velvet

Velvet will forever be feminine and romantic, and it is becoming a staple piece for the seasons. Because velvet and winter go hand in hand, it tends to be most available in forest greens and charcoal greys, but it doesn’t have to be. More of a variety of colors are being offered for velvet now that the fun fabric is on the rise. Burnt oranges and mustard yellows are staple fall hues that thrive in velvet patterns. Fuschia pinks as well as royal blues flourish in winter months as a stark contrast to the dreary, dark days.

The most simple way to add velvet, and keep your hair out of your face, is with a scrunchie! Free people and Urban have packs with a variety of patterns and some fun colors to bring any outfit to life.
